Last term, more than 120 Old Boys, partners and staff gathered in the College staffroom to celebrate tradition and connection with the annual Over 60s' morning tea.
Most classes from 1942 through to 1978 were represented at the popular event, with the Class of 1966, and Class of 1965 being particularly enthusiastic about attending this year.
Principal, Mr Domenic Burgio, spoke to the assembled alumni about the progress of our Blessed Edmund Chapel restoration and how every single CBC student has trod the floorboards of the iconic heritage building.
The beautiful tuckpointing and restorative work on the old hall was made possible by donations from CBC alumni, providing a lasting legacy for past, present and future students.
The event is always an opportunity to reminisce on the past, and this year Br Brian Clery ('53) brought in two special photos of himself and his peers that dated back to 1946.
President of the Alumni Association, Mr Terry Iannello, followed up by thanking the morning tea's sponsor, Old Boy John Hughes ('52) who was in attendance.
A big thank you to the current CBC gentlemen who assisted in serving food and drinks.
