COVID-19 update - Friday 25 February

Dear CBC Families

I hope this communication finds you safe and well. At this stage, the College continues to have just one member of our immediate school community who has tested positive for COVID-19. We are aware that some students and staff are, or have been, deemed close contacts to cases outside of the College and have had to isolate. We are also aware that some families of staff and students have tested positive and are isolating and recovering - often away from loved ones. We keep all those impacted close to our hearts and assist wherever we can.

I would like to thank our community – students, staff, parents and families - for the calm, positive and considerate approach taken in the current climate.

The new close contact definitions for schools and the process for being tested and isolating are contained in the attached infographic. Please also note:

  1. If your son is not well and has COVID-19 symptoms, please keep him home and have him tested.
  2. Please notify the College immediately of a positive test result.
  3. Ensure that your son has a good supply of masks and a water bottle for school.

Further information can be found at the wa.gov.au COVID-19 website.

We are here to support you - please continue to contact us if you have any questions or are uncertain about what action to take.

Kind regards

Jenny Knox
Vice Principal
