COVID-19 Update - Monday 28 June 2021

This evening Premier Mark McGowan announced a four-day lockdown in the Perth metropolitan area and Peel region effective from midnight tonight until 12.01am Saturday, 3 July 2021.

At this stage schools will remain open. We are unsure what the remainder of the school week will look like, and depending on staffing and further restrictions we may need to modify our face to face learning programme. Practices we are already familiar with such as masks, good hygiene, hand-sanitising, increased cleaning regimes and physical distancing will be in place.

Parents may choose to keep their children at home, as per previous lockdowns. For these students, we will plan to have learning programmes available on SEQTA as soon as practicable.

The College Leadership Team is currently working with Catholic Education Western Australia to prepare for the days ahead as the situation evolves. An update is planned for the morning which we will relay as soon as possible.

For the latest health information and any health-related enquiries, please refer to the Western Australian Department of Health website or access the helpline on 1800 020 080.

Please continue to check for updates to the COVID-19 Exposure Sites. If you have been at any of the locations at the times specified, please follow advice from the state government regarding testing and isolating.

We hope our community remains safe and well throughout this period.  If you have any questions, please contact myself, or Jenny Knox, Vice Principal.

God bless,

Mr Domenic Burgio
