1h1a7580.jpgIt was a whirlwind start to the academic year, and the Year 7 students were plunged into the CBC journey with a range of fun and challenging activities.

Following their warm welcome to the College and a day spent getting to know their Year 12 buddies and the general routine of classes during Transition Week, the Year 7 boys were ready for the next step of their journey.

The cohort enjoyed fun activities designed to make them feel more comfortable in their new surroundings, including friendship development sessions, workshops learning how to create a planner, and introductions to sports and swimming trials.

A special Retreat introduced them to the story of Blessed Edmund Rice and what it means to be a CBC boy and not just a boy who goes to CBC.

The adventurous Year 7 camp allowed the boys to forge strong friendships and take the first step to being brave and bold as they rose to the challenge of being away from home and being part of a team.

The boys will continue to be supported as they settle into their new school, with their Year 12 friends being available for them every morning in Mentor Group and the opportunity to continue building positive relationships with their peers.
